ECCOM was selected as “one of the top 100 Chinese enterprises in software business income” for the seventh time.

The Operational Monitoring Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology promulgated the name list of the top 100 Chinese enterprises in software business income (hereinafter referred to top 100 software enterprises) in 2014 (the 13th session) in Qingdao on June 12, 2014. Shanghai ECCOM Network System Co., Ltd. ranked the 30th place. This was the 7th time for ECCOM to be selected as one of the top software enterprises.

At the release conference, Zheng Lixin, head of the Operational Monitoring Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology introduced the characteristics of the economic operation of the top 100 software enterprises of this session, and described the future trend of industrial development to all people present at the conference.

•The strength of these enterprises has obviously increased, with a new high having been created in the threshold for being selected. The business income of the top 100 software enterprises of the new session has grown by 29.6% over that of the previous session;  

•The R & D level has been rising day by day, with the innovative capacity having been increasing continuously. The R & D investment expenditure of the top 100 software enterprises has grown by 9.4% over that of the previous session;

•Restructuring has been quickening, with integrated development being boosted steadily. Software products have been continuously developing in the direction of platforms, networks and mobility. The operating models have been advancing in the direction of collaboration, services and integration. IT service has become an important engine of the upgrading of software industry, with its income accounting for 41%, 3% higher than that of the previous session. 

• Brand effect has become more prominent, with its leading role having been continuously reinforced. Along with the rapid development of software products and technology, software scales have been centralized toward large enterprises, software talents have been flowing to advantageous enterprises, and software market has been leaning toward excellent brands. The contribution of the top 100 enterprises to the industrial and social development has been rising drastically.

A new progress has been made in internationalized strategies. The software export volume of the top 100 enterprises has grown by 46.2% over that the previous session. 

•The role of pillar industry has become more prominent, with its driving effect having become more and more remarkable. The 100 top enterprises have played an outstanding role in boosting the sustainable development of society, economy and environment in the following aspects: improving the quality and increasing the efficiency of the traditional industries; promoting the Chinese development of information consumption; fulfilling social responsibility.
